Project and website terms

Terms and conditions.

These general terms explain website use and the principles that should be confirmed in each custom furniture quotation. A signed project document should take priority for project-specific scope.

1. Website information

The website presents solidwood.studio’s made-to-order furniture approach, categories and contact information. General descriptions are provided for guidance and are not a substitute for a project-specific design, quotation or written agreement.

2. Custom project scope

Each project should define the furniture, dimensions, materials, finish, hardware, upholstery, drawings or references, delivery, installation, exclusions, taxes, payment stages and expected timeline in writing before production.

3. Design approval

The customer is responsible for reviewing and approving the final project specification and confirming that supplied measurements, drawings, access details and functional requirements are accurate. Changes requested after approval may affect cost and timing.

4. Natural material variation

Solid wood is a natural material. Grain, colour, figure, knots and tonal variation may differ between samples, photographs and finished pieces. Reasonable natural variation is part of the material’s character and should not automatically be treated as a defect.

5. Reference imagery

Licensed furniture photographs on this website are representative design imagery and are not presented as actual completed projects. Reference images supplied by a customer may guide direction, but feasibility, originality and project-specific adaptation should be discussed.

6. Pricing and payments

No universal price list is stated on the website. Pricing depends on the approved scope. The applicable quotation should specify validity, taxes, payment milestones, cancellation consequences and whether delivery and installation are included.

7. Timelines

Production and delivery timing depends on design approval, materials, complexity, workload, site readiness and logistics. Any estimated schedule should be read with the assumptions stated in the project quotation.

8. Delivery and access

The customer should disclose the project location, floor level, lift dimensions, staircase restrictions, entry width, loading limitations and installation conditions. Additional handling or site-related work not included in the quotation may require revised arrangements.

9. Care and use

Furniture should be used for its intended purpose and cared for according to material and finish guidance provided for the project. Exposure to excessive moisture, heat, sunlight, impact, unsuitable chemicals or improper handling may affect the product.

10. Website availability

The website may be updated, paused or changed without notice. External links such as WhatsApp, maps and email are operated by third parties and their availability is outside the website owner’s control.

11. Intellectual property

Website text, original branding, layout, code and logo artwork are protected to the extent allowed by applicable law. Third-party representative photographs remain subject to their source licences and are credited in IMAGE-LICENSES.txt.

12. Contact and clarification

Questions about a project should be resolved before approval by emailing solidwoodstudio55@gmail.com or calling +91 96366 13133.

Implementation note: These general terms are not a substitute for a detailed furniture contract or jurisdiction-specific legal advice. The business should review them before public use.
